From the breeder

The rainbow boa ( Epicrates cenchria ) is a non-venomous constrictor native to Central and South America , famous for the striking, prismatic iridescence on its scales that shines like a rainbow when exposed to light. Physical Characteristics & Size Appearance: They have reddish-brown or orange-brown base colors marked with dark rings and side spots. Tiny ridges on their scales refract light to create a holographic sheen. Size: Adults typically grow between 4 to 6 feet (1.2 to 1.8 meters) in length, with females usually larger than males. Lifespan: They live up to 20 to 25 years with proper care. Habitat & Care Requirements Humidity: They require very high humidity ( 75% to 90% ), which is critical for preventing respiratory infections and failed sheds. Temperature: Keep ambient temperatures between 70–85°F , with a safe basking spot around 80–85°F ; temperatures above 85°F can be dangerous for them. Enclosure: Use moisture-retaining substrates like cypress mulch or orchid bark, and include a large water bowl for soaking. Temperament: Opinions on Reddit are mixed regarding whether they make good beginner pets. While adults tolerate gentle handling and move slowly, juveniles can be nippy, and maintaining their strict humidity needs requires dedication. Diet Feeding: In captivity, they feed primarily on appropriately sized rodents (mice or rats). Method: As nocturnal ambush predators, they constrict their prey. This pair is long time captives that have produced the babies that are also available.  They are slim as they were breeders but are gaining weight back fast.  They are handleable but have their limits. Female I would sell for 900 shipped, male 700 shipped.  1200 plus shipping for the pair.
